Biography
- Evan Williams received his bachelors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
- He is currently pursuing a Masters in Nuclear Engineering. Evan is funded by an NEUP grant.
- Evan's research probes the effects of swift heavy ion irradiation on carbide materials with a focus on zirconium and hafnium carbide as functional materials and surrogates for actinide carbides such as uranium carbide.
- Evan also conducts research in coated particle kernel synthesis for nuclear applications such as next generation reactors or space propulsion.
