Biography
Jackson is a current senior working on a BS/MS degree in Nuclear Engineering. He began work for DISMAT in September 2022 and helps with lab tasks such as XRD analysis, RBS analysis, RAMAN analysis, strip drilling, sample preparation/unloading, and chemical inventory upkeep. Currently he is working on quantifying swift heavy ion irradiation effects on 3C-SiC lattice parameters. Jackson's skills include knowledge in analysis tools and computer codes such as Python, Matlab, Excel, MCNP, Fittyk, GSASSII, SIMNRA, SRIM, and partial knowledge in SCALE.
